Out of all of the skateboard companies out there Almost skateboards is for sure one of my favorites. The Almost skateboard team consists of some of the best of the sport. Some of the most-well known riders are Rodney Mullen, Chris Haslam and Greg Lutzka, all of them are incredible skaters but skate boarding is not as easy as it looks. Any one who skate boards can tell you that it easy until you try it your self.

All of these skate boarders aren’t wearing a helmets. I’m not sure why they aren’t  wearing a helmet, be safe (I would be dead without a helmet).

There are many people around the world who love Vegemite! I however, am not one of those people.
I started out with a good attitude to try this new spread, I love traveling and experimenting with new foods!  But… when I saw it spewed onto the cracker I saw the crackers life flash before my eyes. The black tar looking substance suffocated the helpless snack.
I looked around and saw other poor crackers being enveloped in the goop.
The site of it was bad enough, would the look of it be as bad as the taste? I hoped not.
I picked up my cracker to my nose and took a sniff, it smelled like burnt soya sauce covering rotted flesh.
I brought it to my brave lips and took a small nibble, hum…well, not as bad as it looked and it looked better than is smelled. It did taste disgusting.
It’s great to try new things but this ‘thing’ isn’t for me!

Every thing blurs as I spin dipping my hand in to the icy cold water on my skim board this feeling only lasted until I plummeted into the sand, toppling onto my back.Looking up at the enormous blue sky only hearing the laughter of my class mates and the ripples of the shallow water then standing up covered in sand from head to toe .That was my favorite moment at camp : )

Hello this is Jordan reporting from HNN (Huzzahnian News Network.) On Monday May second 2011 our class voted for goodwill council. Our class faced a few problems along the way like Matt braking both of his arms right in the middle of class. Or Jared trying to put up advertising during the vote. Also max trying to convince Amber to tell him how she voted for. All of these problems where taken care of by our scrutineer and our fabulous deputy returning officer Andrew (it was a very exiting event).thank you to the people who made this possible.

Would you dare to jump out of a moving airplane! I sure would but this isn’t all about jumping out of of an airplane it is also about search and rescue or SAR personally search and rescue would not be a job I would like to have besides the fact that you get to jump out of an airplane every once in a wile. But the main reason I would not like to work for SAR is because i could not take responsibility of being trusted to save or find someone. just an opinion as FPS Russia would say as always comrades have nice day.

School is the place that many people think they learn everything at, well that’s not true. If you think about it, you are learning something new every minute.  What I focused particularly on is learning how to work I Movie. Once you learn how to work I Movie it is a lot of fun. Now, before we get in to detail about I Movie you might like to know that this program is only available on Mac computers, but there is program on the PC called movie maker.  (just so you know)

1. Download your video to I photo then open I Movie and select import .

2. Your video  should  show up in frames in the middle.

3. Scroll your mouse over the selected frame and and the timing will be out of sync.

4. Press the space bar to play the video clearly.

5. Select the video you want and drag it to the big box near the top in the order of which you would like them to play .

6. Click the gear icon to edit sound, speed, zoom and video effect to the selected clip.

7. Add a sound track to your movie by clicking the music button near the display screen and select the program of which the sound track is in.

8. Drag the track to the background of your finished movie.

It may take a few days to get used to it, but once you get it it is tons of fun.

I did not mention all the features of I Movie but figuring them out is fun as well.

Now most of you are probably wondering what the heck are pysanky? Well, I will tell you. A pysanka is a Ukrainian  Easter egg. Each symbol has its own special meaning to represent something. In our class we made pysanky, only they were on egg shaped paper. They looked really good.

What I liked about my pysanka are the variety of colors.

Crosses Christ, or the Four Corners of the World

Wheat wishes for good health and a good harvest.           The Sun and Stars life, fortune, growth.

Deer, Horses, and/or Ramms wealth and prosperity.Ladders prosperity, or prayer

Fish Christianity

Curls defense or protection.

Poppies beloved Ukrainian art motif, symbolizing joy and beauty.

Roses love, caring.

Triangles air, fire, & water; the Father, Son, & Holy Spirit; heaven, earth, & death.

The Saw fire, life-giving heat (also known as Wolves’ teeth, symbolizing loyalty

Ribbons everlasting life, and water.

fulfillment of wishes and fertility. The bird is always shown at rest, never flying.

Nets Christ’s reference to becoming “fishers of people”.

These are many examples what symbols you can find on pysanky.

My absolute Favorite Place To Visit On Vancouver Island is definitely Sproat Lake.

It has warm, crystal clear water and lush forests that surround it. In the summer the lake is perfect for wake boarding, tubing, water skiing, fishing and much more. Sproat Lake is also home to the famous Mars Water Bombers. This plane lands on the water and sometimes scoops up thousands of gallons of  water and carries it to a forest fire and dumps it on the fire. There are some beautiful multimillion dollar cabins surrounding the lake along with some amazing boats.(I want one)

This  upcoming summer my friend living in Germany is coming to stay in a rental cabin with my family and I… Can’t wait!   These are only a few reasons why Sproat Lake is my favorite place on Vancouver island.
