Puff…

That’s the unmistakable sound of the rippling, powdery snow  as I carve down the newly blanketed face of our mountain, Mt. Washington. Mt. Washington is snowy in the winter which is amazing for skiing, snow boarding and tubing and sunny in the summer which is  perfect  for down hill biking and hiking. Now you are probably wondering where is mountain is?  Mt. Washington is beside the peaceful town of Comox on Vancouver Island, BC, Canada.

Some of the most popular places to visit in Comox are the Comox Marina, which has a boat launch right next to Marina park. The marina has lots of parking, washrooms and a playground. Goose Spit is also very popular.  Goose Spit is an amazingly long stretch of beach where my family loves to have fires and hang out. Two of my fave places to hang are the Courtenay Skateboard Park and the Link’s indoor skate park, they are so fun to hang out at and sk8.
